Credit card perks in India: what they actually are
A perk is a benefit attached to a card you already hold: extra cashback, points, a lounge visit, a milestone voucher, or a fee waiver. Lists of cards you do not own do not help at pay. The useful move is knowing which perk still has room on this spend.
Perks are not one product
Cashback is rupees back. Points are a currency you later burn. Lounge access is a visit cap, often behind a spend threshold. A milestone is a target that unlocks extra value. Merchant offers are time-boxed discounts on a named store. Treating them as one 'rewards' blob is how people redeem the wrong thing.
Apply-and-compare sites rank cards you might take next. That answers a different question. If the card is already in the wallet, the question is which perk still applies to this merchant and amount.
Use the perk that is still live
A 5 percent line is not live after the monthly cap. A lounge visit is not live after the quarterly limit. A welcome voucher is not live after the window. Log the spend so you can see which of those clocks still has room, instead of remembering last quarter's brochure.
You do not need a library of every Indian card. You need the cards you added, the spends you logged, and a pick for the next checkout. Checkout assist on Android is optional.

Common questions
- What are credit card perks in India?
- Benefits on a card you hold: cashback, points, lounge visits, milestones, merchant offers, and fee waivers. Each has its own cap and rules.
- How do I find perks on cards I already have?
- Read the current issuer terms for caps and exclusions, then log spends so you can see which perk still has room. A public card catalogue is not a substitute for your wallet.
- Does Perks list every Indian credit card?
- No. Perks ranks the cards you add. It is an expense log and next-card pick, not an apply-for-card library.
